the benefit of the inhabitants of Bumside and surrounding areas of Co. Antrim, hereinafter
described as the "area of benefif, without distinction of age, sex, ra￿, political, religious or other
opinion, by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a
common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for
recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improwng the conditions of lrfe for
the said inhabitants.
