Mission, Objectives and Strategy
Mlsslon Statement
St Conorfs Parents, Teachers and Friends Association is Tun by a group of volunteer parents, staff and friends who
organise social events to strengthen home-school relationships as well as occasionally raising funds lo purchase
educational resources for the children at St. Conols School. The Association also supports the school by providing
hospitslity at school events and volunteering for roles within the s¢hool.
The purpose of the Association is to advance the educalion of pupils in the school in particular by- 1. Developing
effective relationships between Ihe staff, parents and others associaled with the school,. 2. Engaging in activities or
providing facilities or equipmenl which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Results and Dividends
Al the end of Ihe financial year the charity has assets of £22,012 {2021 £22,653) and Ilablllties of £0.00 {2021
£0.00). The nel assets of the charity have decreased by £1641).

Purpose 1 is demonstraled through having an active PTA that Works in partnership with the school and engages

Purpose 2: Advancing the education of pupils in the school The benefit which flows from this purpose includes
increased educalional progress and attainment of pupils in the school and links built with the local community.
Purpose 2 is demonstrated through pupils having access to resources, events, activities and links with the local
community which are not available through direct school funding. No harm arises from either purpose. The
beneficiaries of this charity are the children of Sl. Conorfs Primary School. Charity trustees {PTA committee
members) are usually also parents at the school which their children attend and hence gain benefil in the same way
as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided lo all
beneficiaries.
