John White Memorial Congregational Church 119-121 Tennent Street, BelfasL BT13 3GE Registered Charity Number: NIC106077 TRUSTEES, ANNUAL REPORT FINANCIAL REPORT 1st November 2022- 31 October 2023 The purpose of the Church/Charity is the advancement of religion in Tennent Street and the surrounding Shankill/Crumlin Road area of north Belfast. In the years 2022/2023 we held regular Sunday morning services from 11:30 = 12.30. The fortnightly 'Fellowship Hour, hel.d on a Tuesday mo.rning has a new time of 2:00pm instead of 1:30am. These services were times of Bible teaching prayer for the congregation and local community, encouragement and fellowship. During our Sunday morning services we studied the Books of Genesis ans l John. During the week in the evenings the church was busy with youth activities. There is a Boys, Brigade company (Monday evenings) and a Girl Guide company (Wednesday evenings). The ai.m of both organisations is to make the children good citizens, help them develop into young adults, prepare them to meet the challenges of everyday life, and promote Christ's Kingdom among them. These organisations and the church are open to everyone. We continue to try to develop the relationship between the Church/charity and the local people as well as to seek to promote the purpose of the Church/Charity, while holding the Commission Public Benefit Requirement in regard. The Church/Charity is in a good financial position at the end of 2023. All the people named below were Trustees on the date this report was compiled.
