FINANCIAL REPORT I" November 2019- 31 October 2020
The purpose of the Church/Charity is the advancement of religion in Tennent Street and the surrounding
Shankill/Crumlin Road area of north Belfast. In the years 201912020 we held regular Sunday morning
services alongside our Sunday school Ithe times for both were 11=30 - 12.301. There was a fortnightly
'Fellowship Hourf held on a Tuesday morning at 10=30am. These services were times of Bible teaching,
prayer for the congregation and local community, encouragement and fellowship. During our Sundav
morning services we studied the Books of Genesis. Malachi, and Mark. But a Covid Pandemic and
Lockdown forced the church to close completely from 22 March until 2nd August 2020
During the week in the evenings the church was busy with youth activities. There is a Boys, Brigade
company (Monday evenings) and a Girl Guide company IWedne5day evenings) each week during school
term time. The aim of both organisations is to make the children good citizens, help them develop into
young adults, prepare them to meet the challenges of everyday life, and promote Christ's Kingdom among
them. We always encoufage the organisations to attend and take part in a number of Special Church
Services e.g. Remembrance Day and the Christmas Carol Service. These organisations and the church are
open to everyone.
We continue to try to develop the relationship between the Churchlcharity and the local people as well as
to seek to promote the purpose of the Churchlcharity. while holding the Commission Public Benefit
