## Activities

**Purposes:** The objects of the Company shall be to-: a)	Advance education, preserve and protect health and provide facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of the inhabitants of Glenravel and its environs (“the area of benefit”), without distinction on the grounds of race, gender, ethnic origin or disability in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life. b)	Educate and assist young people aged 4 to 18 years of age through Gaelic games and other recreational activities so as to develop their physical fitness, mental and emotional capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individual and citizens and that their conditions of life may be improved. c)	Enhance the development and education of young children by encouraging parents/guardians to understand and provide for the needs of their children by:- i.	Offering appropriate play facilities with the right of parents/carers to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of the Company, ensuring that the Company offers opportunities for all children, regardless of religion, culture, race or means ii.	Encouraging the study of the needs of such children their families and promoting public interest in and recognition of the needs of such children and their families in the local area.
