11 Trustees report 2017/18 August 2018 In September 17 we moved into our new premises we successfully refurbished a 2 room mobile within the Dalriada school grounds. The Northern Health and Social Care Trust had specific requirements and had passed this mobile as a childcare facility. We are currently renting a toilet block with 4 toilets and a staff/Disabled toilet from Mcveigh mobiles. We have fitted the mobile with pvc fire exit doors and windows. Internal Fire door with vision panels and finger guards have been fitted. It has also been fitted with a security system and fire alarm that is connected to Dalriada main system. We had an independent fire risk assessment carried out as well as an independent Health and safety risk assessment. In February we had our fire training and our Health and safety training. Our new employee received their safe guarding training all under the guidance of the Minimum standards. Our intake is secured to 20 children per room a total of 40 children. Unfortunately we at the moment cannot guarantee our shift worker parents. We came to the mobile in September with 7 staff members, in February we employed one extra member of staff and in May a member of staff left. We will be paying rent for the mobile, toilets and electric this year. We have been in discussions with the Ballymoney Nursery to access the Model Primary school via their property, we erected a gate to join both premises and had a path built in the nursery property to access the gate. We have also agreed to have access to the nursery's outdoor play area. There has been committee meetings discussing the refurbishment of the second mobile for opening in September 18. This may increase our child intake from 40 to 70. We acquired a loan to remove the asbestos from the new mobile. Signed by On behalf of all the trustees
