## Activities

**Purposes:** The company’s objects are specifically restricted to promotion for the benefit of the public of the advancement of education, the promotion of sustainable development and biological diversity, the advancement of rural regeneration and the conservation, maintenance, improvement and protection of the physical, natural and built environment of the Causeway Coast and Glens area including those areas designated as areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONBs) and in particular the Antrim Coast and Glens AONB, Causeway Coast AONB and Binevenagh AONB bound by the wards of the Causeway Coast and Glens and Mid and East Antrim Borough Councils and their environs of County Antrim and Londonderry, Northern Ireland (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the general public and in particular: (a)	to advance the education of the public or any local or statutory authority in the principles and practice of conservation, and the conservation and protection of wildlife and marine life in an effort to encourage conservation; (b)	to advance, promote, preserve and further the conservation maintenance and protection of features of the landscape in the area of benefit with geographical, historic, physiographical or amenity value and to enhance their contribution to existing environmental amenities in the area of benefit for the public benefit;	 (c) 	to advance the education of the public in subjects relating to sustainable development and the protection, management, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment and to encourage and promote study and research in such subjects provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the general public; (d)	to advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the directors, may from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.
