Pauls Campaign raises awareness of Sarcoma Callc¢r on two fronts" public awareness and by lobbyÉng those with political and medical infiuence in the region. Paul's Campaign is raising awdrene&s to doctors and rK)liticians to bring about greater Sarcoma cancer awareness. Pauls Campaign is cu￿entlY working with the PHA (Public Health Agency) by designing and creating ￿SterS for medical centres and local conimunity centres to highlight the awareness of wcoma cancers in our region. Pauls Campaigll is looking to collaborate with medical bodies for earlier detection of sarcoma cancers. wc ljave been to a meeting with the BMA (British M￿1￿1 AsS￿latiOn) to ty and have a better and more successfill diagnosis of cancer. Th¢ direct benefits IIiat flow from our purpose include an increased awareness of Sarcoma Cancer Èn the general public allowing for quicker detection tin]es and an increased quality of life for those diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer. The results of these benefits can be measured by attendance at fimdraising and publicity events and consultations with those diagnosed with Sarcon]a Cancer. We don't believe that there is any harni resulting from oui puipose. The B¢n¢fi¢iaries are the Inithitants of the Northwest district area of Co Dery and Co Tyrone particularly but not exclusively those currently suffering from Sarcoma Cancer. Mernber Responsibilities in Relation to the Financial Statements The members are responsible for preparing the annual report and the financial statements in Accordance with applicable law artd United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice. The law applicable to charities in Northern Ireland requires the members to prepa¥e the financial statements that give a true and fair view of the state affairs of the charity at the end of the F￿anCial year and of its sutplus or defLcit for the financial year.
