**Purposes:** The Association is established to relieve poverty, youth and the aged and promote the protection and preservation of health and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Scarva and its environs of Co Down.  Without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic identity, disability, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
