Thmughout this period the Trustees Continued to meet on a regular basis to plan the yearly activities. These activities included: Supported new member so the group to support their long- lost children We provided a Listening Ear for those that were isolated for many years We built confjdence and self esteem We lobbied for justice with MLAS We engaged with other groups on a cross community basis We networked with other good practice examples in order to develop our knowledge Members of the group took part in research carried out by Queen's University into the Mothei. and Baby Homes in Northern Ireland Met with the Department of Health in relation to research into thirteen Mother and Baby Homes in Northem Ireland. We raised awareness of what happened in these Mother & Baby Homes We support people impacted by what happened in these Mother & Baby Homes e.g. those suffering mental health diffieulties and Post traumatic Slress Disorder Hosied good practice visits Signposted Clients to relevant services Signed.. kA Date..
