All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.

1st Moneyreagh Guide Unit is a group of girls aged between 10-14 years who meet on Wednesday evenings between 19:00-20:00. The Unit meeting activities included games, craftwork, painting and problem solving. The Guides learned to work together and made efforts towards achieving a variety of interest and skills badges. The Purpose of Girl Guiding is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.
