The purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physical and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year 

1st Moneyreagh Guide Unit is a group of girls aged between 10-14 years who meet on Wednesday evenings between 19:00-20:00. The unit reopened in February 2023 with new leaders. The unit meeting activities included games, craftwork, painting and problem solving. The guides learned to work together and made efforts towards achieving a variety of interest badges.

All Trustees of 1st Moneyreagh Guide Unit are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year 

As of 1st of August 2023 1st Moneyreagh Guide Unit had a bank balance of **£21.33** and **£30.00** in petty cash, total balance of **£51.33.** 

The unit has no assets. 

Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
