A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
We welcomed our new Brownies and completed promise work, had a well being month where we learnt about moving our bodies, why it’s important to have a good nights sleep, learnt how to give hand massages and learnt some yoga together. We had a great party at Halloween, had a few games nights, had a wonderful candlelit promise ceremony and party, made some Christmas crafts and finished off the first half of our year gathering with other Girlguiding members for a viewing of Matilda where we were given some fabulous badges.
The second half of the year saw us learning about different cultures for Thinking Day, enjoying some drama, made ‘stitch’ from air drying clay, had a great night with Vikki from Plant & Play where we planted peas, took part in some science experiments and played some games. We took part in the North Down County Brownie fun day in Comber. We took part in Irish dancing class for St Patricks Day, completed some Easter crafts, and moved out of the hall when we could. We finished the year off with a party in the park and received the badges we had earned.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
