A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
This was the first full Brownie year we have had face to face meetings since the pandemic began and it was wonderful to see everybody back again.
The first term, before Christmas, was spent getting to know our new Brownies and enrolling them into our unit with a lovely candlelit (LED) ceremony and we celebrated with cake afterwards. We welcomed Joe and his drums and had a fab evening drumming and being entertained. Badge work was completed and we finished off the first term with a visit to Lorne’s Christmas evening.
After Christmas we started off with a talent evening, making Valentines gifts for our loved ones, learnt about France for Thinking Day, had a movie night, visited Elite Archery for a super activity evening, completed more badges, and made Easter Crafts.
After Easter we left the hall as much as possible to enjoy the outdoors in Brice Park, Ballyholme beach for a litter pick and finished off with a special Platinum Jubilee party & Brownie camp.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
