The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop
emotionally. mentally* physically and spiritually so that they can make a positlve contribution to
their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charivs main artivittes to further its puTp05es for the public benefit and the
main achievements in the year
There were 10 Rainbows registered at this time ranging from 4 years to 7 years old. The Unit
meets on a Monday evening from 6_30 pm to 7.30 pm. We met on 31 occasions and enjoyed a
range of activities including
Craft, games, indoor camp. mini pizza night. 'Stomiont Stroll.. Santa Visit and experiencing
outdoor attivitie5 and badges.
These helped the girls to gain a better understanding of the Guiding programme ès they
developed new skills and grew in confidence and self- esteem.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no personal gain or
private benefit.
A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission'5 Publlc Benefit requlrement

We confirm that all Charity Trustees of l Dundonald Rainbow Unit are aware that they are
legally obligated to have regard to the Commission's Public Benefit requirement statutory
guidance.

A review of the Charitys financial position at the end of the year
Bank account opened on 1st January 2018 with an opening balance of £507.76. A total amount
of £1,411.57 was Collected by pa￿ntaI Subscriptron, Fund Raising, Camps/Outings and Census
Fees and £751.25 was spent on operational costs of the Unit leavin6 a balano of £1.168.08.
The Unit ha5 no assets.
