**The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.**

1[st] Moneyreagh Rainbows is a group of girls aged between 4 and 7 years old who meet 36 weeks of the year on Wednesday evenings between 7 – 8pm.  During the year, September 2024 – June 2025, there were 16 Rainbows in regular attendance. 

Rainbows have a wide and varied programme of activities, including games, songs, craft, art and badgework covering a large range of topic. 

We attend a District Christmas outing at Christmas and completed projects on Hiber nation, 100[th] anniversary of thinking Day, Recycling and Relationship. We also took part in joint activities with other units.

All Trustees of 1[st] Moneyreagh Rainbows are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

**A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year** 

The unit started on 13[th] September 2024 with cash and bank balance of £250.00 Petty cash, £2414.00 savings account and £2131.00 cheque book account enabling the unit to open. 

The group has no assets. 

**Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit**
