**The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.**

1[st] Moneyrea Rainbows is a group of girls aged between 4 and 7 years old who meet 36 weeks of the year on Wednesday evenings between 7 – 8pm from September 2023 – June 2024, there were 20 rainbows in regular attendance. 

The girls have a varied programme of activities which include games, songs, badgework, art and craft covering a wide variety of topics.  We attend a Pantomime at Christmas and completed projects on recycling, global warming and Mental Wellbeing.  We also took part in joint activities with other units.

All Trustees of 1[st] Moneyrea Rainbows are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

## **A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year** 

The unit started on September 2023 with cash and bank balance of £373.00 Petty cash / £1324.00 Cheque book account and £2384.00 Savings account enabling the unit to open. 

The group has no assets.
