A surnmary of the CharlVs maln actlvitle5 to further its purposes for the publlc beneflt and the main achlevements In the year 12, Bangor Rainbow Unit is a group of girls aged between 4 years old and 7 years old who meet 33 weeks of the year on Monday evening from 6.30pm- 7.30pm. During the year September 2023-June 2024 there were 17 Rainbows in re8ular attendance. Rainbows took part in games each night, did crafts and badge5. They worked toward Their Know Myself Theme Badge and completed their family tree interest badge. The Rainbow planet bulbs and learnt how to look after them so that they would flower in the sprin8. The Rainbow5 learnt about Civil Engineerin8 and build bridges and towns with play bricks and Lego. Played lots of different board games and went on an adventure to the cinema. The Rainbows crafted some beautiful Christmas trees and decorated melting snowmen biscuits. Then had a very special visit from Santa l The girls learnt the importance of keeping fit and learn some new exercises and dance moves. The Rainbows had a topsy turvy evening when they did everything backward- even the games. The Rainbows attended a thinking day service and made thlnking day trees which were made with the colours of Girlguiding and their thumb prints. Made their own bubbles. Took part in the redesign of the new Rainbow Uniform. cooked s'mores and did lots, lots morel We finished our year with a visit to Girlguiding HQ Lorne, to play games and have our end of year badge presentation.
