All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

Asummary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
- We continued to meet weekly in Kircubbin Community Centre on a Tuesday Evening from 7.30 — 8.45pm.
Badges completed within the unit meetings by the girls were as follows : Civil Engineering Badge, Savings Badge, Circus Skills, Challenge 25 and Lifeboat Challenge Badge. We went to e are Vertigo
Raised money at a Christmas Sale
We visited Habitat ReStore in Newtownards
We celebrated Remembrance Day and Valentines
We attended Camp at Ganaway
A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance
All Trustees of 1° Kircubbin Guides are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance.
A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year
The unit started on 1 July 2024 with Cash and bank balance of £994.90, enabling the unit to open.
The group has assets in the form of Tents and Camp equipment of the value of circa £100.
Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
