INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
TO THE TRUSTEES OF RWM STRAIN MASONIC CHARITABLE TRUST
I report to the Trustees on my examination of the financial statements of RWM Strain Masonic Charitable Trust (the
Charity) for the year ended 5 April 2024.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the Trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with
the requirements of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to..
• examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under section 65(9){b)
of the Charities Act
state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
I have examined your charity a¢¢ounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was
carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under
section 65{9)(b) of the Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the a¢¢ounts
presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts,
and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the
examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respe¢t-
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 63 of the 2008 Act
the financial statements do not accord with those records. or
the financial statements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of
accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the
accounts give a true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention
should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the financial statements to be reached.
