Strncture, Governance and Management
Cullyharw Conununity Group was incoLTroTated on 9 NovemEer 2010 and is governed by &
voluntary board of directors. The directOTS during the year to make mana8ement
decisiorLS on arw such as strategic plannin& fundraisin& seeking ￿nding to provide
facilities and amenities for recreation. The board is resporLsible for policymaking.
The directOT5 have actively reviewed the major rtsks whith the charity faces and be]ieves that
the charity has sufficient resources in the event of adverse conditions. The directors have also
examined other business and operational risks. whith the charity faces and confirm that it has
established $ystell￿ to niitigaie Si￿lE1(ant risks.
Objeclives and Activlties
The main obiective of Cullyhanna Couununity Group is to advance community development
in the area and in particular the PTomotion of the conununity and voluntary sector for the
benefit of the public by providing facxlittes and ameDities at the Rural FamiIy Focus Centre, as
well as trainin& support and Informatio￿ to commurrity and voluntary 8roups and
organisations to work in partrwship and cwperation to achieve their aims.
Achievements and Perforniance
During 2011 funding was secured to proc&d with the renovatiorLS tr) the Community Centre.
The centre provides multipurpose faciIities for use by the collununity. Jack N JIII ComEnunity
Creche is operating out of the centre. five days a week aIong with other youth, sports and
community 8roups using the centre on a regular basis.
Financial Revleiy
We received funding of £8,400 from Big Lottery Fund Awards for All Northern ITrlarLd foT
the CG Hop &otrh Cook and Run ProiecL NI Cornmunity Development & Health Network
provided fundFng under the CommUnity-Pharn￿ry Partnership Grants Programme which
was used to faciIitate a PTogratt￿e working with a group of men aged between 3(k55, in
buildins confidence. selfosteem and ￿la1 Cdpacity.

£7,562.

Total incoming resources for the period ended 30 November 2018 were £11079 {2017:
£32,115).
Reserve5 Policy
The chari¥s po]icy is to maintain a level of free reserves whÈch meets the needs of the
organisation both at the current lime and in the foTeseeable ￿ture. Free Teserve% are its totaI
funds excluding restricted funds, designated funds or income funds which can only be
released by disposing of fixed assets held for charity use.
Statement of trustee8' re8ponsibiIities
The trustees (who are also directors of Cultyhanna CommunÈty Group for the purposes of
company law) are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Annual Report and the financial
statements in accordan￿ with applicable law and United Kingdom Generally Accepted
Accounting Practice.
Company law Tequires the trustees, to prepare the financial statements for eath finanaal
period which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charitable company and of
the incomtng resources and application of resources. including the income and expendxture,
of the charitable company for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the
ditettors are required to:

Make judgements and estimated thatare reasonable and Prudent
Stste whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed. subject to any
material departUTes disclosed and exp]ained in the financinl stafeEnents; and
Prepare the fllwicial statements on the going concern basis. unless it i% inappropriate
to presume that the charxtable company will continue in busin￿.
The trllSt￿ are resporLsible for keeping proper accounting Tecords which disclose wÈth
reasonable accuracy at any time the linancial position of the chATitsble company and to
enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006.
They are also rwonsibIe for safeguarding the a&sets of the charitable company and hen￿ for
taking Teasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularitie5.

The above report has E*en prepared in accordance with the s￿1&1 provi%ions for small
companie5 under Part 15 of the Compantes Act 2006.
