The Trustees of Tullysaran Communty Association present their report and the financial
statements for the year ended 30 September 2023.
The Trustees have adopted the provision5 of A¢counb"ng and Reporting by Charities=
Slalemerit of Recommended Prath"ce applicable to charit.es preparing their accounts in
accordance wth the Financial Reporbng Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland{FRS1021.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The principal activitses of Tullysaran Community Associats'on are".
To promote the benefit of the community of the Tullysaran area and its surrounding rural
environs without distinction of age, gender, disabilty, sexual orientation, natr'onality. ethnic
identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the slatutory authorities. Community
and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advan￿ education,
and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time
occupation, with the object of improving the condib.ons of life for the said inhabitsnts and

Tullysaran Community Association seeks to achieve Ihis objective by lawful means.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Tullysaran Community Association ITCAI is an active and indusive community
organisation that serves the rural populats.on of Tullysaran and surrounding areas.
Currently TCA organise a varied programme of social indusion and health and wellbeing
activits'es including physical activity dasses. early years and after school clubs, posibve
aging groups, and local fundraising iniliatives.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Overview
The charity incurred a deficl of £21,710 in the year ended 30 September 2023 (2022..
deficit of £22,089).
Incoming resources
Total incoming resources for the year We￿ £24,875 12022.. £18.026). The charity
continues to be thankful for peoples, wonderful efforts and generosity.
Total resources expenses
Total reSoUr￿S expended were £46,585 12022 £40,115) for the year ended 30
September 2023. It must be noted that included in expenses is depreciation of the
building amounting to £21,54712022. £21,547}-
Balance sheet
Net funds are positive at £123,493 {2022'. £145.2031 as at 30 September 2023.
Reserves policy
The charity's policy is to maintain a level of tree reserves which meets the needs of the
Company both at the current time and for the foreseeable future_ Free reserve5 are its
total funds excluding restricted fvnds, and designated funds. The Company had £14.593
{2022'. £14,438} free reserves at 30 September 2023.
Future developments
The charity remains true to its founding principles lo promote the benefit of the
community of the Tullysaran area".
It is hoped that a Youth Club will be set up in the near fvture.

The Charity is controlled by its goveming document. a deed of trus( and constitutes
limited company, limited by guarantee, as defined by the Companies Act 2006.

TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILry STATEMENT
The Trustees are responsible for p￿paring the Trustees. report and the financial
slalements in accordance applicable law and the United Kingdom Accounting
Standards Iunited ￿'ngdoM Generally Accepted Accountrng Practsce).
Charities legislation requi￿$ the Trustees to p￿pare ffinanaal statements for each
financial year. Under Charities legislation the Trustees must not approve the finanual
statemen15 unless they are satssfied they give a true and fair view of the stale of affairs of
the charity and of the incoming resources including the ￿ceipts and payments, of the
charity for that year. In preparing these finanual stalements, the Trustees are required to..
- select suitsble accounting policies and then apply them consistentiy,
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP..
-make judgments and accounb'ng estimates that are reasonable and prudenL
-state whether applicable UK accountsng standards have been followed, subject to any
material departures disdosed and explained in the financial statements.
-prepare the financial statements on the going Con￿rn basis unless ti is inappropriate to
presume that the charitable company VI￿11 continue in operatson.
The Twstees are responsible for keeping adequate accountsng records that are sufficient
to show and explain Ihe charity's transactions and disclose wth reasonable accuracy at
any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial
statements comply with the Charities legislation.
They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charty and hence for laking
reasonable steps ft)r the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregulanties.
