The Trustees of Tullysaran Communty Association present their ￿port and the financial
statements for the year ended 30 September 2023.
The Trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounb'ng and Reporb"ng by Chanb"es'.
Slalement of Recomrnended Practice applicable to chanties preparing their accounts in
accordance wtr* the Financial Reports"ng Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland{FRS102).
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The principal activits'es of Tullysaran Community Associab'on a￿".
To promote the benefit of the community of the Tullysaran area and its surrounding rufal
environs wthout disb'ncbon of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nats"onality. ethnic
identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorits"es, community
and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advan￿ education.
and to provide facilib'es in the interests of social welfare for recreakn.on or other ￿lSUre•bme
occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and
in particular.
a) to maintain and manage a community centre in the area of benefft for activits'es
promoted by the company.,
bl to advance any other exdusively chanlable purpose as the d1￿CtorS may, from time to
time, decide in accordance wrth the law of charity.
Tullysaran Community Associab'on seeks lo achieve this objectr.ve by lawful means.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Tullysaran Community Association (TCAI is an acts've and inclusive community
organisation that serves the rural population of Tullysaran and surrounding areas.
Currently TCA organise a varied programme of Social inclusion and health and wellbeing
acts'vibes including physical activity classes. early years and after school clubs, positive
aging groups. and local fundraising initiats"ves.

Older People
Families with ¢hildr8n with special needs.
We acknowledge funding from the following organisats"ons.'

Overview
The charity incurred a defict of £21.710 in the year ended 30 September 2023 12022..
deficit of £22,089).
Incomlng resources
Total incoming resources for the year were £24,875 12022.. £18.026). The charity
continues to be thankful for peoples, wonderful efforts and generosity.
Total resources expenses
Total resour￿$ expended were £46.585 {2022.' £40,115) for the year ended 30
September 2023. It must be noted that induded in expenses is depreciation of the
building amounting to £21,54712022. £21.5471.
Balance sheet
Nel funds are positsve at £123.493 {2022.' £145,203) as at 30 September 2023.
Reserves policy
The charitys policy is to maintain a level of free reserves which meets the needs of the
Company both at the current time and for the foreseeable future. Free reserves are its
total funds excluding restncted funds, and designated funds. The Company had £14,593
12022.. £14,438) free reserves at 30 September 2023.
Futuro developments
The charity remains true to its founding principles 'lo promote the benefit of the
community of the Tullysaran area".
It is hoped that a Youth Club wll be set up in the near fvture.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing document
The Charity is controlled by its goveming docurnent, a deed of trust, and constitutes
limited company, limited by guarantee, as defined by the Companies Act 2006.

TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILTY STATEMENT
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees. report and the financial
ststemenls in accordance wth applicable law and the United Kingdom Accounting
Standards (United lQ'ngdom Generally Accepted Accounts'ng Practice).
Charities legislation requires the Trustees to prepare ffinanual ststements for each
financial year. Under Charib-es legislats'on the Trustees must not approve the financial
statements unless they are satisfied they give a true and fair view of the stste of affairs of
the charity and of the incoming resources induding the r￿ipts and payments, of the
charity for that year. In P￿paring these financial statements. the Trustees are required to..
- select suitable accounting poliues and then apply them consistenly..
-observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP..
-makè judgments and accounting ests'mates that a￿ reasonable and prudent
-state whether applicable UK accounting stsndards have been followed, subject to any
malerial departures disclosed and explained in the financial ststements.
-prepare the financial statements on the going concem basis unless it is inappropnale to
presume that the charitable company will cOn￿"nUe in operation.
The Trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient
to show and explain the charity's transactions and disdose with reasonable accuracy at
any lime the financial position of the charity and enabk Ihem to ensure that the financial
slalements comply with the Charits"es legislation.
They are also ￿sponSible for safeguarding the assets of the charty and hen￿ for tsking
reasonable steps for the prevention and detec￿"on of fraud and other irregularits'es.

2. Follow the procedures laid down in the general Direclions given by the Chanty Commission
for Northem Ireland under Section 8519)Ibl of the Charib-es Act.

Basis of the independent examinerfs report
I have examined your charity accounts as required under 5eth.on 65 of the Charities Act and my
examinaty.on was carrTed out in accordance with the general D1￿CtionS given by the Charity
Commission for Northem [￿land under section 65{9llb) of the Charities Act. The examination
included a review of the accounting records kept by the Charty and a comparison of the accounts
presenteé with those records. It also included considerats.on of any unusual items or disclosures in
the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees conceming any such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to
belv&ve.'
1. That aecounting ￿COrdS were not kept in accordance with section 386 of the Compan¢es Act
2006.
2. That the accounts do not accord wth those accounb.ng records.
3. That the accounts do not comply wtth the accounting requirements of section 396 of the
Companies Act 2006 and with the melh¢)ds and principles of the Charities Statement of
Recommended Practice applicable lo charities preparing Iheir accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

2006 for the year ended 30 September 2023.
The members have not required the charitable company to obtsin an audit of its financial ststements
for the year ended 30 Septernber 2023 in accordance wtth Section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The trustees acknowledge their responsibilities for

387 of the Companies Act 2006 and

company as at the end of each financial year and of its surplus or deficit for each financial years in
