This enhances and supports a healthy lifestyle for all the bencficiarics assisted by the charity through the supply of medical equipinent, buildin materials and expertise. These benefits are evidenced through improv¢d provision of servi¥es and improTred medical welfare of those who have been the reknipients of these slip- plies iiicluding the poor, sick and disabled persons. Financial review Total income for the year was £71,040 compared to £77,351 in the previous year. Shipping costs were £51,543, cost of goods purchased was £18,427, paper purchases £3,200, administrativ¢ cxpellses £6,104 giving a total ¢xp¢nditure of £79,274 (2023:£77,443). This resulted in a deficit for the year of £8,234 (2023: deficit £91. Total tidS were £51.710 (2022: £59.944) ResponsibIIiti in respect of the financial Statements. The Trustecs arc responsible for preparing the Annual Report and the financial statcments in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice. The Trust¢¢s are requiied to prepare fmancial siaietnents for each fanCIal year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the congregations and the fmancial activities for the year.
