Respective responsibllities of charity trustses and examlner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northem Ireland) 2008 and subsequent upjates (induding 2022). It is the responsibilty of the independent examiner to: Examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charitres Act Follow the prO￿dureS laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. stste whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examine￿$ report An examination ofyour charity accounts as required under sedion 65 ofthe Charities Ad was carried out in accordance th the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland under section 65(9)(b) ofthe Charities Act. The examination induded a review of the accounting records kept by the tharity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also induded consideration of any unusual items or disdosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as chaiity trustees conceming any such matters. My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving my cause to believe.. That accounting reojrds were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act 2.
