The Church15 an Independent Church and has no affiliations to any other Church or Assoclatlon. The Church does have connettions with othef Reformed Churches on a basls of mutual fellowshlp and prayerful support. PURPOSE The prlmary function of Magherafelt Reformed Bapt15t Church Is to promote the Chrlstian Faith accordin8 to The Word gf God, The Bible. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE The Trustees have 50ught to follow and fulfil the Charity Commission's guidance wlth regard to the provlslon of public benefit from and through the Church and are satisfied that we have done this through the varlous Church activities. Churth Servlces On a wÈèkly basis the Church provides the opportunÈty for members and vlsitor5 to meet together on Lord's Day mornings and evÈning5 With the prlmary purpose of worshippin8 God and to learn more about the Word of God through preaching and teachlng. On both morning and evenin& we have on average 25 to 30 people attendin8. We also seek to provlde home vtsits to offer 5UPPOrt and encouragement to any of our membets and visitors who are housebound or have medical issues which prevent their ￿gUlar attendance to the services.

On some occaslon5 we have a visiting representative of one of the Charitles or Organlsations we 5UPPOrt to provide an update on the work of the charlty or organisation. Thls provides information on the progression of work and also provides focus for on80in8 prayer support. Chlldren and Young people We also have a focus on provldlng biblical Instructlon to young people and children and we do thls throu8h our Sunday School and Youth meetin8S Our Sunday School runs from September to June. We have teachers who can work wlth all age 8roups. The Youth Club runs from October to May and draw5 15 to 20. malnly youn8 teenagers, from the surrounding area. The church provldes supervlsed transport to ensure all who need transport are safely plcked up and dropped off at designated stops. The meetlngs provlde various games and activities and a150 the provision of li8ht refreshments. At the latter part of the meeting there Is a short message whlch focuses on some slmple blble studies. Study Groups Study groups for both men and women are arian8ed throughout the year to encourage fellowship and opportunlty to study the Word of God In a home situatlon. Reach out to the communlty We reach out Into the communSty wlth planned door to door vlslts to dlstribute leaflets and invitations to the regular meetlngs. We have begun to use social media more and rnore and have Invested in varh)us equlpment to enable development of this ministry, Mlsslonary Fo¢u$ A number of special Public Meetlngs are held throu8hout the year Whe￿ we Invlte different speakers and Christian Misslonaries who speak on a range of biblical topics and the development of churches in foreign fields. These meetlngs are advertlsed. and Invltations are posted and distributed by hand. Conferences Our annual Church programme now Includes One Day Conferences to PrO￿de partlcular teachlng on partScular Blblical Issues. A reco8nlsed Speaker Is invited. and the Conference Is open to all vlsitors. local and further afield. On Friday 25th October this year. we have an evenlng meetlng planned to mark Reformation Day. This rneeting15 a150 open to all visitors, local and fvrther afield. As a church now wlth a fulltime pastor. we tontinue to recelve overslght from an establlshed church In Crawley near Gatwlck In the UX. We have had a longstanding relationship with the pastor of Maidenbower Baptist Church and receive valuable pastoral help and guidance from thelr Pastor and Deacons.

Prayer Meetin8S Chlldren and Young peO￿e Study Groups Reach out to the communlty Missionary Focus PUBLIC BENEFITS The prlmary funrtlon of Magherafelt Reformed Baptist Church ts to promote the Chrlstlan FaSth according to The Word of God, The Bible. The benefrts which come from this funrtlon are the buildlng up of the ChrSstlan Faith of those who attend MaghÈrafelt Reformed Baptlst Church and to provide support and encouragement to those who are sick and to those who have difficult personal circumstances. MRBC holds weekly public worshlp Serv1￿ both rnornlng and evenin8 on the Lord's Day as well as mornlng Sunday School Classes for both Adult5 and Chlldren. There are weekly Prayer Meetln8s which include Devotlonal Bible studles and T1￿$ of Prayer. In the wlnter months there are Youth Meetings on Frlday evenln8s attended by local chlldren. Supervlsed transport is provlded to ensure safe journey5. FINANCIAL REVIEW The church Is funded only by voluntsry glfts and (lonation5 and makes use of the Glft Ald Scheme. The Church has no liabl1￿leS or commltments The Church does not hold any Funds as Custodion Tnistee on behalf of others. STATEMENT OF TRUSTEE RESPONSIBILITIES The Trustees are responslble for preparln8 the annual report and the flnanclal statements of the con8re8ation in accordance wlth appllcable law and generally accepted accountin8 prattiee. As the church's total Incorne does not exceed £250,(K)O, the Trustees have elected under Section 64131 of the Charltles Act INorthern Ireland) 2008 to prepare a receipts and payment account and a ststement of assets and liabilities. The Trustees are responsible lor kÈeping adequate accountln8 records that are sufficieftt to show and explaln the con8regation's transBrtlons and dlsclose with reasonable accuracy at anytlme its ftnanclal position. They are also responsible for safeguarding the a55et5 of the con8re8atiort and hence for taklng reasonable steps for the prevention and detettion of fraud and other irregulèrities.
