## Activities

**Purposes:** To promote for the benefit of the public the development of all aspects of Irish-medium education in particular by: (1) The provision of assistance and advice in the establishment of schools. (2) Promoting the interests of persons connected with the schools and promoting standards of good practice within the schools (3) Liaising with and representing the views of other bodies with a view to the furtherance of Irish-medium education. Such groups including the Department of Education; Education and Library Boards; the Council for the Curriculum, Examination and Assessment; the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools and other educational bodies.
