Theatre only reopened for cinem8 e¥en16 from May 2021 arKI was not P8rnittgd to wpen for IFV8 theatre
performances until S&plemb8r 2021. Thffjugfh)ut this time, we were forced to iM￿eMent social distancing measures
of 1 melre bewn awjtence ff*mbar groups, which reduced our capacity ty approx. 70% from 372 to 14)￿120.
Thls enabled us to run som& small events, w)cluding final Forfmances for community arts projects that we
deliv8r8d in partnorship *Mth a r8rwJ8 of ststulory. comrrwffiity, culbJral and hearth #r*J welfare organisalion8 that
benefit those rN)st dtsadvanl8pJ in foxièty. Bul as cg)mmer¢ial events, particularly larger scale tcmjring productions
require audiences of around 80% to br88k even, r￿fting tIKJSe events urKler Ihe 1 mètre soci81 distsncing rule
wasn'l VIab￿ and so we had to rrt)stF¢rt many of these events until all restrict￿nI were eased and did rtol
commence programming these unb'l Febnjary 2022. Gwen all the issues wè fxed dunng this year we were plèased
to recor(1 audiences of 13200 att￿￿lI￿a t)Uf wwammè of 114 chlklm's thèatrè, drnma, dance. muslc,
comedy and film events.
