The charitabl¢ tru51 constituted by this de¢d (the charity) and its property (the Trust Fund) shall be administered and managed by the twstees under the name of Granaghan Outreach Charitable Tntst or by such other name as the trustees from time to time deeide. There is no remuneration of any rtabjre made to the Truslees. Board of Tnjstees The Trust is managed by a Board of Trustees which meets on a regular basi5 and is ¢haired by Miss. Maev¢ Quinn. The appoiDtm¢nt of new Trustees is made by a resolution to the existing TnteeS passed at a sp¢¢ial meeting. Administration The administration of the Trust is undertaken by the Treasurer, Paul Ward. Important de¢ision5 are carried out only with the approval of the Board of Trustees. Objective$ and gctivities The objects of the trust are exclusively charitable being the promotion and provision of edutiOnal. social. vocational, cultural and recreational faGilities and relief of poverty for ihe communities at home and abroad wher¢ the5¢ objeGts provid¢ relief and are needed. Achievement and performAnce During ihe year the Charity continued to fund irusled missionaries with th¢ir work. Financial r¢vlew During the year Granaghan Outreach has continued to raise funds through various collections and donations. The Charity made a surplus of £10,835. This is shown in the Stat¢ment of Receipls and Payments A¢counl on page 5. I report on the financial statements for year ended 28 February 2024, which are sct out on pages 5-6. Respective Responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charlties Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It 15 my responsibility to.. examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act follow the PTocedure laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland under section 65(9}(b) of the Charities Act state whetheT particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independellt examlner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. My examination included & review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters. My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe: Thal accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act. That the accounts do not accord with those aoUntIng records. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act. That there is rther infonnation needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be rea¢hed. I have completed my examination and have no concerns in respect of the matt¢rs (l) to (4) listed above and, in connection with following Directions of the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
