INDEPENDEiYf EXAMINERS REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF CRUMLIN EVANGELICAL PRESBYTERIAIN CHURCH I report on the accounts of Crumlin Evangelical Presbyterian Church for the year ended 31" December 2023, which are set out on pages 6 to 10. Respeetive responsibilities of charity trustees and eiaminer As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the prepa￿101] of the accounts in accordance with the Cbarities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to.. examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act. follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Conunission under section 65{9}(b) of the Charitie5 Act. state whether particular matter5 have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's report I have exam ined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charilies Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the ChariEy Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9Mb) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the accountii)g records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with thos¢ records. li also included consideration of anv unusual itenis or disclosures in the account5, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees conLerning any such mattLrs. My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention &iivin&F me cause to believe- l. That accounting records were not kepi in accordance with se¢tion 63 of ihe Charities Act. 2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records. 3.
