A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

There were 18 girls in the unit and we met for 32 nights throughout the year.

The Brownies took part in a balanced programme including games, craft and singing. Many badges were worked for and obtained during the year including activities from the ‘Be Well’ and ‘Have Adventures’ themes from our new Girlguiding programme. Our Brownies also completed many Interest badges with 3 Brownies gaining all 18 Interest Badges. We also awarded 4 bronze 3 silver and 6 gold awards at the end of the season.

In January, County Tyrone Girlguiding took over the Cinema in Cookstown for a viewing of the film “Moana 2”. This was a very special event when we were all together with members from all sections of Girlguiding Tyrone. We had our annual Thinking Day ceremony in February, made presents for our Mums for Mother’s Day and made a pop-up Easter card.

We completed the year by attending the Mid Ulster District Fun Evening in Ballygawley where we joined with all sections to enjoy games, crafts and campfire singing. However, the highlight of the year was our Pack Holiday in the Guide House in Gosford Forest Park at the end of June. We enjoyed crafts, singing, trails, walks and smores and a fabulous time was had by all!!

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
