The Purpose of each of these Charitles is to educate girls and young women to help them develop
emotionally, mentally. physically and spirttually so that they can make a positive contribution to
their Community and the wider worfd.

A summary of the Charitys maln activities to further fts purposes for the public benefit and the
main achievements in the year
There were 21 girls in the unit and we met for 30 nights throughout the year.
The Brownies took part in a balanced programme including games, craft and singing. Many badges
were worked for and obtained during the year including activities from the 'Know myself and Yake
Action, themes from our new Girlguiding programme. Our Browntes also completed many Interest
badges and we awarded 4 bronze 8 silver and 7 gold awards. As a Unit we also completed the
Girlguiding Ulster Scots badge.
In December, County Tyrone Girlguiding took over the Cinema in Cookstown for a viewing of the
film "Wish . This was a very special event when we were all together with members from all
sections of Girlguiding Tyrone.
We had our annual Thinking Day ceremony in February, made presents for our Mums for Motherfs
Day and made edible Easter Bonnets at Easter.
We completed the year with an outing to Peter Pan's Neverland indoor soft play area in Portadown
and we were joined by the Rainbows.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no PTivate benefit.

Trustees are aware of this.
