Music In Fermanagh is an unincorporated body governed by ils Constitution Idaled 12 August 20161.
The organisalion is recognised as a charity by the Charities Commission lor Northern Ireland Irel
NIC1057561. The organisation regislered with the Charities Commission for Northern Ireland on 12
January 2017.
Governance
The governance function of Music In Fermanagh is lullilled through ils Board of Trustees. The
Trustees are charged with overall responsibility lor the organisalion. The Trustees give their lime
voluntarily and receive no dividend from the Charity. Any benefits which obtained are incidental. The
Board ol Trustees ol Music In Fermanagh are responsible for the overall legal and financial
management of the Charity.

Charity's Aims
The purposes of the organisation are..
(11 to promote and foster the enjoyment and understanding of classical chamber music to the general
public in County Fermanagh and its hinterland through the commissioning and presentation of
chamber music recitals, and., {21 to organlse and promote other appropriate music events, including
ediJcationaS activities lor young children and students in Fermanagh and its hinterland.
Achlevements and pertormance
During the year the Charity organised three concerts in Enniskillen. These concerts also incorporated
some educational workshops which were allendeé by young people and classical music enlhusiasls,
Financlal review
Revlew of the business
The Charity is non-prolit making with net income of £23 lor the year, The Trustees are engaged in
ongoing etliciency savings and are aware ol the sustainable use ol resources.
Reserves Policy
The Trustees of Music In Fermanagh have set a reseNes policy which requires ihal reserves be
maintained at a level which ensures that the Charity's core activity could ¢onlinue during a period ol
unforeseen diff iculty and lo assist in the lulure slTalegic development ol the organisalion. The Trustees
anticipate building their reserves to assist with working capital requiremenls. to deal with unexpected
items of expenditure and lo fund income shortfalls (should they arisè) from events held. The Trustees
have agreed that the Charity shoLsld endeavour lo hold in reseNes an amount not less than £5,000 in
an eltort lo minimise the risks identified to the Charity.
Plans for tuture periods
The Trustees hope that the Charity will operate at an increased level in the next financial year. They
will continue lo organise concerts, hold workshops and endeavour to pursue suilable fundraising
opportunities.
