Each project has èt least one deslgnated employee who manages that project and reports monthly to the directors. RESULTS The surplus for the year was £20,146 (2022.. £ 10,204 ) FINANCIAL REVIEW & RESERVES POLICY The surplus at 31 March 2023 was £43,401 , The dlrectors have passed that the company should endeavour to achieve and rnalntain reserves coverlng Ilmlted unfiJnded core actlvity and these reserves should be readlly available, Overheads remain very low facilitatlng thls wlthout slgniflcnant reserves. The profile of expendlturels as agreed wlth the funders In order to achieve the stated objectlves and the balance of 5UPPOrt costs are covered by the addltlonal funds recelved. The reserve5 should increase. General funds are unrestricted funds whlch are available for use at the dlscretlon of the dlrettors In furtherance of the general objectlves of the company and whlch have not been deslgnated for other purposes, Designated funds comprise unrestricted funds that have been set aslde by the dlrectors for partlcular purposes. REPORT (contlnued) IMPACT OF COVID-19 The impact of coranavirus restrictions meant that there was naturally more concentratlon on remote activitles, which ran succe55fully for that perlod. The situatlon now resolved, there has been no real Impact on the charity's sustalnablllty due to the low overhead model and 5ufflclent reserves. Most financlal actlvlty 15 tled up In funded projects that were able to contlnue qulte successfully desplte belng carried out remotely If necessary. Any that would have involved gatheriTrJs. especlally indoors, had ceased in lockdown but activity continues at present very much as normal. The dlrectors are satisfied that they have made necessary adjustments to ensure that Migrant Centre Nl Ltd wlll continue to achieve its objectlves. GOING CONCERN The dlrectors, havlng considered the charity's income streams, flnancial means and strategy for deallng with issues such as the impact of Covld-19, over the next 12-18 months, are satlslfled that the golng concem basls Is approprlate.
