Activities

As to the rest residue and remainder of my estate not hereinbefore disposed of after payment of all my debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and all duties payable to the Crown in respect of any and every bequest made by this my Will (which I direst and desire shall hereafter be called the “Francis Curley Charitable Fund”) to divide the income thereof into two moieties and pay the same as follows:- As to the first moiety to pay Twenty five per cent thereof to the Foreign Mission in connection with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Fifteen per cent thereof to the Women’s Auxillary of said Foreign Mission commonly called the Zenana Mission. Ten per cent to the Home Mission of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland to be used exclusively for the work carried on by it in the City of Belfast. Ten per cent to the Old Age Fund in connection with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Ten per cent to Doctor Barnardo’s Homes for Waifs and Strays. Ten per cent to the British and Foreign Sailors Society. Five per cent to the British and Foreign Bible Society. Five per cent to the Jewish Mission in connection with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Five per cent to the Hospital for Sick Children Belfast. Five per cent to the Soldiers Home, Clifton Street, Belfast, And as to the other moiety to pay Fifty per cent thereof to the Sustentation Fund in connection with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland Thirty per cent to the Aged and Infirm Ministers’ Fund in connection with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. Ten per cent to the Orphan Society in connection with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland to be applied exclusively for the benefit of the Johnston Memorial Training Home, Hopefield Avenue, Belfast. Ten per cent for the Fund for the Widows and Orphans of Ministers in connection with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. And I direct and declare that the receipt of the Treasurer for the time being of each of the before-mentioned Charitable Societies, Institutions or Funds shall be a good discharge to my Trustees for the payment of any moneys made payable by this my Will to each of the said Societies, Institutions or Funds respectively.
