The sanctuary has improved the facilities for both animals and staff with the provision of a new laundry room, 2 new catteries and a cat isolation unit. We have also upgraded our kennel block , outdoor facilities, our meet and greet area’s and our office space.
We have experienced an increase of family pet’s both cats and dogs and especially pet’s of increasing age with health problems. This has been reflected in our accounts which show a substantial increase in our veterinary costs. Other major expenses incurred have been heating, electricity and food.
We wish to record our thanks to pet’s at home foundation, our fantastic supporters, our staff and volunteers. We look forward to another year ahead which undoubtedly will bring further challenges.
