## TREASURER'S REPORT 2022

This years Report basically confirms that we have got beyond Covid and are making a steady recovery as overall we increased our income by about two thousand pounds mostly due to donations and fund rising events, bearing in mind that income from our main source weekly envelopes are down about £3000 from £29,697 last year to £26,687 in 2022 which appears to be resulting in quite a few payers who stopped paying during covid have not returned and many families are paying less.

Newspapers have showed down but we managed to get away one load at £1,000 while Easter and Christmas envelopes have fallen as have Smartie Boxes, Harvest Envelopes have increased.

The Auction was a good success raising over £2,500 as was the Concert which raised over £600 even though the timing may have been too late in the year and the weather was not good.

(Unfortunately there is still a large number of Parishioners who failed to make any contribution during the year (Especially the younger Parishioners) We need the financial support from ALL of our Parishioners both young and old no matter how little (according to means) to survive after these difficult times and we understand how difficult it is financially for some people but we must financially meet our commitments as a Parish otherwise our full time Rector will not be replaced and ultimately the Church Authorities would deem the Parish unsustainable and same would be closed.

## Yours Treasurer

## Sammy Fyffe

The Vestry on behalf of the Parish would again wish to thank those regular Parishioners who meet their weekly commitments and many of whom give a lot of their own time and talent free of charge in fundraisings and maintaining our Churches and Halls.
