Th6 past year continued the congregation's mlsslon In worshlpplng God, servlng Chrlst proc18iming the Gospel and growing In faith. It Is a testament to the ethos of the members that they continued to support, both personally and financially, the ongolng witnass of the congregation. Sunday momlng sarvlces contlnued to be held at 11 :30am with broadcasting provlsion for those who cannot be phys5cally present. Ongolng pastoral care was exerclsed through the Kirk Session and Minister. Youth work continued through the Boy's Brigade, Sunday School and Blble Class, and the Youth Fellowship was able lo be reestablished. Midweek Bible 8tudy and prayer contlnued on Wednesday evenings. The Presbylery of Tyrone held a con8ultatlon with Ihe congregatlon and provlded a number of area8 to reflect on and report back. An away day for the elders was held in September with Rev Colin Millar talking on how the congregatlon can bett8r become a praying people. Harvest wa8 agaln very successful wSlh the young people from the congregation reportlng back on their mlssion trip to Uganda. Th8 year concluded with Chri8tmas colebratlons once agaln. FINANCIAL REVIEW Total r8c8lpts In r89ct of Restrlct6d and Unrestrlcted Funds Increased by £76k to £236k In 2023. This Is malnly due to receipts from the sale of land (tennis courts) offset by reduced Income associated with donatlons, legacles and grants. The congregatlon's maln 80urce of Incom818 members contrlbutlons through Weekly Freewill Offering, There were 165 contributors during the year (183 In 2022) donating a total of £71 k (£66k In 2022). Total expendlture In 2022 decreased by £15k In comparlson to 2021, however 2021 was hlgher due to due to Church improvements (new Sound 8yStemlre-painting workslrepalrs) and Increased donatlons to Mlsslonslcharltles (malnly Ukralnlan Moderator's Appeal). Th8 Net movement in funds across the Church and it's affiliated organisations was an incr8ase of £103k therefore total fundlng carried forward into next financial year is £315k. along with investments to the value of £2.5k.
