The following is an extract from the minutes of the Kirk Session/Committee Meeting for Maguiresbridge Presbyterian Church held in the Church Hall on Wednesday 9[th] October 2024.
For information:- Kirk Session consists of the Church Minister and elected Elders and the Kirk Session acts as Trustees in relation to the Charity Commission.
Members present were Rev Rodney Beacom, Andrew Knox, Nicola Woods, Joy Kirkpatrick, and Allen Rogers. Apology received from Elizabeth Armstrong (Not seen by Secretary until later).
- 4 Church Accounts 2023 – were circulated prior to the meeting. The accounts showed FWO income was slightly down (£350) compared to 2022. Again, there were no major repairs needed, our largest expense being the grass cutting for the hall/church grounds, although this has remained at the same rate as for the previous 2 years. The final balance was £26915.66, down by only £18 on 2022. There were no queries and Andrew Knox proposed with Allen Rogers seconding that the 2023 accounts be passed as being correct. There were no other proposals.
