Verification of Accounts for Maguiresbridge Presbyterian
Church for Period ending 31st December 2019
Due to all the concerns and precautlons surrounding the Coronavirus situation,
our regular Church Committee Meetin8s have not been held this year, in line
wlth advice Issued from Church House and in line with Government Guildlines.
A draft copy of the Accounts was prepared and elther emailed to or hand
delivered (for those with no email facilty) to all members of the Church
Committee. The members were asked to study these accounts and if they had
any queries. they were advised to speak with Joy Kirkpatr6ck, the Church
Treasurer who Is responsible for compiling the accounts.
Church Services resumed in our church building on Sunday 4 October 2020,
the Committee were asked to meet briefly with appropriate social distancing in
place on Sunday 25 October 2020 to discuss and verify the church accounts.
The following committee members met on the above mentioned date:_
Andrew Knox, Joy Kirkpatrick, Elizabeth Amistrong and Allen Ro8ers. The
accounts showed a small deficit of £46.47 (down on the previous year).
There were no Issues ralsed by any members either prior to or at this brief
meetin8 and it was proposed by Elizabeth Armstrong and seconded by Allen
Rogers that these accounts be adopted as a true and accurate record of our
churches financial situation for period ending 31" December 2019.
This was passed by all those present.
