REPORT for year 2021
During the year 2021 there were restrictions on meeting in person due to the COVID pandemic. However the members of Newtownbutler Presbyterian church met when permitted and otherwise used services circulated by email from the minister and/ or viewed online via Facebook.
Communion services were held in May and November following the restrictive guidelines for such in-person services.
A Harvest service was held in October.
A joint service with the other churches in the group was held on Christmas morning in Lisbellaw.
Prayer time / Bible Study was held on a fortnightly basis by telephone Why pay Conference call involving all the churches in the union. The Presbyterian Women’s joint group also met monthly (Jan - Apr and Sept - Dec) via telephone when some meetings included a visiting speaker joining the call.
In October one member celebrated his 100th Birthday
