The charity's activities expose it to a number of financial risk5 including credit risK cash flow risk and liquidity
risk. The use of fmancial derivatives is governed by the charity's policies approved by the board of trustee5,
which provide written prinGiple5 on the use of financial derivatives to manage these risks. The chaTity does t

Credit risk
The charity's prit]cipal fmancial assets are bank balances and Cas￿ trade and other receivables, and investments.
The charity's credit risk 15 primarily attributable to its trade receivables. The amounts presented in the balance
heet are net of allowances for doubtful receivables. An allowdnce for impainnent 15 made where there is an
identified loss event whith, b&8ed on previous expertence. is evidence of a reduction in the recoverability of the
cash flows.
The credit risk on liquid funds and derivative fman¢ial instnunents is lirnited because the counteTparties are
banks with high credit-rntings assigned by international credit-rating agencies.
The charity has no significant concenlTation of credit risk, ￿7th exposure spread over a large number of
counterparties and customers.
Liquldtty rifk
In order to maintain liquidity to ensure that suificient fLmds are available for ongoing operdtions and future
developments, the charity use5 a mixture of long-tern] and short-tenn debt finance.
Further details regarding liquidity risk can be foulld in the Statement of accounting w)licies in the financial
