DRUMREAGH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF DRUMREAGH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH I report on the accounts of the Church for the year ended 31 December 2022. which are set oul on pages 4 to 15. Respective responslbllitles of Trustees and examlner As Ihe charity's trLtstees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounis in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of Ihe Charities Act (ill follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Norlhem Ireland under section 65{9)Ib> of the Charities Act (lil) to state whether particular malters have come to my attention. Basls of Independent examlnerfs report I have examined your charlty accounts as required under seclion 65 of Ihe Charlties Act and my examination was Larried out in accordance with the general Directions given by Ihe Charity Commission for Northern 1rp.land under section 6519)Ib) of the Charilies Act. The examination included a review of the accounting recofds kept by the charity and a comparison of Ihe accounts presented wilh those records. 11 also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations frorn you as charity trustees concerning any such maller5. My role is to slate whether any material matters have come to our altenlion giving us cause to believe.. 1. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act 2. That the accounls do not accord with those accounting records 3. That the accounls do not comply wilh Ihe accounling requiremenls of the Charilies Act 4. That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounls lo be reached. I can confirm Ihal am are qualified lo undertake the examination because l am registered as a member of Chartèred Accounlanls Ireland which is one of the lisled bodies.
