TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT for Lisnaskea Women’s Group for the year ended 31° March 2026

Structure, Governance and Management

Lisnaskea Women’s Group is governed by its Constitution.

The trustees at the date of this report and those who served during the financial year together with the dates of any changes are listed below.

Objectives and Activities

Objectives

The Group is established for the benefit of women in the area of benefit by the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for the advancement of education, relief of poverty, preservation of health and for recreation or other leisure time interests of social welfare and with objects of improving the conditions of life of the said women.

Key Activities in this Year

Lisnaskea Women's Group has provided a range of activities in the area including computer training, craft work, flower arranging, gardening, knitting, sewing and crochet, aqua aerobics, yoga and old-time dancing. The group has also arranged talks on various subjects e.g. community safety; health issues and rural issues. We also network with local organisations, attending conferences and health fairs

Lisnaskea Women’s Group Trustees have considered Charity Commission for Northern Ireland’s general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our objectives and in planning our future activities to ensure that these achieve the group’s purposes and provide a benefit to beneficiaries.

Financial Review

Review of Business

Lisnaskea Women’s Group is non-profit making with net income and resources in this year of £2035.63

The trustees continue to manage resources in an efficient and sustainable manner.

Reserves Policy

Lisnaskea Women’s Group have a Reserves Policy, which requires that reserves are built or maintained at a level which ensures that the organisations core activities could continue during a period of unforeseen difficulty and that the organisations known liabilities will be paid should the organisation cease to trade.

Future Plans

Lisnaskea Women’s Group plan to continue to focus on controlling costs, while maintaining the high standards of service to our beneficiaries.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES’ RESPONSIBILITIES

for the year ended 318 March 2026.

The Trustees are responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which. disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with all appropriate regulations. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
