LISNASKEA WOMEN'S GROUP AGM 16° APRIL 2025 7.30p Chairperson Mrs Lena Benson presided over AGM in Dnunk￿W Fold, Lisnaskea with 34 members in attendance. Apologies Lizzie Clifforf Maureell Kennedy. Geraldine Martin,Sylvia Deering. Chairperson Lena welcomed everyone and our Guest Speaker Mr Nathan Reid who is employed by Fernianagh & Omagh District Council as temporary Home Safety Officer to cover Maternity leave. Chaw)erson gave a detail account of all the activities and events that Lisnaskea Women's Group had participated since Apri12024. (Report attached) Mrs Hilda Latimer Treasurer gave her Report and in Funds we have £2994.07 Since last April we have received funding from Fennanagh & Omagh Council and South West Age Parmership to have Chair Exercises in Oak Healthy Living Centre with Ruth. These dasses are well attended by members and others in the Community. Since last year 2 Committee Members passed away to Cancer, Sarah Neeley and Mrs Philomena Mc Cauley. Other members felt they were getting to old to attend Committee Meetings and they have retired Mrs Teresa FitzpatricL Mi&s Wiolet MO￿ls0n and Mrs Kathleen Reihill. Secretary had asked other lliembers if they wanted to be on the Committee but no one answered. Lisnaskea Fairs and Market Con]mittee donated £IOOO to Lisnaskea Women's Group. Mr Reid was requested to carry out the Election of Officers. He started by congratulating LWG on being a great active group of Women and a good attendarAce at Eneeting. Mrs Lena Benson thanked everyone for voting her in aJJd expressed how grateful she was to have the support of all members. Mr Reid was invited to give his Talk about his role as Home Safety Office In F&0 District Council. Nathan explained that members of the public and members attending the meeting that they could have a Home Safety Check. He requiied name, addre￿ aTJd contact details. 3 members requested a Home Safety Check. Mr Nathan Reid was delighted to see a good attendance at the AGM.
