## 5% Bangor Trustee Annual Report Form — Template 

This template is to provide guidance to units who are completing a Trustee Annual Report for the NI Charity Commission. If you do not wish to use this form please ensure that the headings in this guidance are followed when completing a Trustee Annual Report. 

All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws. 

The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year 

5‘ Bangor Rainbows are a group of girls aged between 4 — 7 years, who meet for 36 weeks of the year on Wednesday evenings from 6.15 pm —7.17 pm. During the year September 20242 — June 2025 there were 22 Rainbows in regular attendance. 

During the year the Rainbows took part in usual unit activities of crafts, games and badgework. 

We had a visit from the Paediatric Doctor. We went Ten Pin Bowling. Had a visit from a working dog from Animal shelter for animal badge. We went to see Santa at Lorne and had our annual sleepover at Lorne in May which we took part in some outdoor activities 

A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement

The Trustees of 5 Bangor Rainbows are aware of the commision’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

## A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year 

The unit started on 8" September 2024 with a Cash and Bank balance of £960.23 enabling the unit to open. 

The group has no assets.
