**The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.**

There was no harm flowing from the charities activities and the financial position is sound with no debt. This has been our first full year since the cessation of events for Covid19. The girls have taken full advantage of the activities this year, including a camp at Portstewart Guide Hall. They have had opportunities to mix with both an older and younger sections. They have voted and planned their own programme with support. We have had a parents evening where the girls performed and were awarded arrange of badges and certificates. Girls depending on ability were able to work towards theme, section and interest badges. Including the communication theme and know myself theme. Some girls expressed an interest in being a rainbow helper and had the opportunity to build on their leadership skills. All girls were given opportunities to share and to have their voice heard, promoting independence and recognising their own importance as a member of the team.

## **A statement that the Trustees have had regard to** 

All trustees and volunteers within the section are aware of the importance of the commission’s public benefit requirement. The section ensures it is doing this by encouraging membership from all sections of the community. Having an inclusive and supportive environment that challenges girls to be the best they can be. The section gives girls the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment, try new things and learn about themselves. This gives them the opportunity to develop independence, resilience and leadership skills that will benefit them as they move through life. State in this box the overall financial position, if relevant include details of any debts or any reserves policy. Include current and previous financial figures for income and expenditure, these should be taken form the receipts and payments accounts.

This is the first financial reporting period since the cessation of events for Covid 19, The opening balance at the beginning of this period was £ and the closing balance was £ There are no debts, and the charity is financially viable.
