A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year 

This year our Brownie Unit welcomed **23 enthusiastic girls** , each contributing to a lively and engaging programme. We began the year by marking a significant milestone — **100 years of Girlguiding Ulster** — celebrating the heritage and spirit that continue to inspire our Guiding community. 

Throughout the year, the Brownies took part in a wide range of activities working towards **Network Stage Two** , alongside several **interest and achievement badges** , 

requirement statutory guidance 

In planning the activities for the year, the Charity Trustees of 1st Ballyclare Brownies have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. This enables us to achieve our purposes and provide a benefit to the girls in our unit. 

Opening balance as at 1[st] April 2022 was £530.56 Income for the period 1[st] April 2022 – 31[st] March 2023 was £1.811.15 Expenditure for the period 1[st] April 2022 – 31[st] March 2023 was £2,152.58 Closing balance as at 31[st] March 2023 was £189.13
