All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop
emotionally• mentslly. physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to
their Community and the wider world.

Girlguiding
A summary of the ChariVs main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the
main achievements in the year
2, Ballymoney Brownies unit had 6 Brownies registered during the period of I" Sept 2022 - 31"
Aug 2023. Term only commenced in November 2022 as we did not have access to the same
premises after lockdown and relocated temporarily to a different church hall.
There were 2 registered leaders, and 2 young leaders in training.
During this year we completed various badge- Feel Good, Mindfulness, Communicate,
Perofrmance. These badges enhanced the girls, teamwork and communication skills alongside
developing their creativity and self-confidence.
Brownies held a Coronation Party in May 2025.
There was no private benefit flowing from the purpose and there is no harm flowing from the
purpose of Girlguiding Ulster.

All Trustees of this charity are aware of the Commission's Public Benefit requirement statutory
guidance.
A review of the ChariVs financial position at the end of the year
Income = £330
Expenditure = £575.18
Balance at end of year= £1,31165.48 in bankbalance
