All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
2[nd] Ballymoney Brownies unit had 28 Brownies registered during the period of 1[st] Sept 2017 – 31[st] Aug 2018.
During this year we completed various badges such as the Consumer Council, First Aid ADVANCED, Seasons and Sports Challenge. These badges enhanced the girls’ teamwork and communication skills alongside developing their creativity and self-confidence.
In June 2018, the girls had a sleepover at St. Patrick’s Church Hall, including a Brownies Got Talent show for the leaders earning their Entertainer’s Badge.
There was no private benefit flowing from the purpose and there is no harm flowing from the purpose of Girlguiding Ulster.

All Trustees of this charity are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance.
A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year
Income = £1,747 + £944.62 (lodged late in 18-19 year)
Expenditure = £2,993.42
Balance at end of year = £606.23 in Bank balance
Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
